Water Festival 2023

To celebrate the return of the Water Festival to Phnom Penh, canceled for the last three years, Confirel showrooms opened their doors to local and foreign tourists during the three days of festivities.

A special menu and a tasting were offered over a weekend to please as many people as possible!

The star of this menu has been the Prahok Ktis, with beef, chicken or pork. Emblematic dish of Cambodian cuisine, it was highlighted in the form of a sandwich and using KIRIL, our Modern Prahok powder.

This recipe was unanimously appreciated by passers-by since it perfectly suits the tastes of Cambodians, Asians and Westerners.

To satisfy those with a sweet tooth, pancakes with Thnotala, mango jam and sugar paste were on sale and for tasting, as well as our healthy infusions in an iced version!

It was a special event and an impromptu stop for tourists before or after attending the races of 337 canoes, the parades of illuminated boats on the Tonle Sap or the fireworks.

In total, more than 4.9 million tourists according to official figures strolled the streets of Phnom Penh.
